Hiebing is an integrated marketing and brand development firm in the heart of Madison, WI. We are hiring for our account management department, which is responsible for ensuring the target market is kept top of mind as we lead strategy and execution on behalf of our clients’ brands.

Exceptional project management is the bedrock of a strong client service professional. At Hiebing, that journey begins as an account coordinator, an integral part of the account management team that acts as ground support in the execution of client-related marketing plans. As an AC, you will learn the intricacies of the production process, from digital platforms to radio, print and TV. You will be tasked with ensuring that projects run on time and on budget and will also build your research skills and client business acumen, developing an ability to elicit and communicate feedback. Leadership of agency and pro-bono projects will help you eventually transition to the role of account executive.

You will also be introduced to Hiebing’s unique approach to marketing, from both a philosophical and practical perspective. As you begin to form your marketing lens, you will learn how to understand and articulate target market insights, identify the difference between actionable feedback and personal opinion, and make decisions rooted in strategic understanding.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Learn internal processes and use them to manage projects through the system
• Assist in the information gathering and production aspects of client work
• Master all tactical aspects of the project brief: budgets, schedules, specs, meeting scheduling, routing, etc. for effective and timely fulfillment of client projects
• Capture and communicate deliverables and next steps identified in cross-functional internal team reviews
• Ensure accuracy in digital routing platforms for creative work
• Review all client correspondence prior to distribution and monitor timelines to ensure deadlines are met
• Maintain client files and approvals and provide account clerical support as needed
• Manage project budgets and alert team as needed
• Conduct secondary research (ex: business reviews, new business pitches, internal Hiebing committees) to support strategic recommendations and turn hard facts into compelling thought starters
• Have a can-do attitude, curiosity, integrity and a We Before Me philosophy

• Four-year degree
• At least six months of full-time work experience desired
• Agency internship experience desired
• Ability to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
