The Harry & Rose Samson Jewish Community Center (JCC) seeks an organized, team player for the role of Digital Media Specialist. This position is responsible for assisting JCC departments in planning, producing and implementing various digital media projects.
After a six month training period in-person, this position can be hybrid – working up to 40% time remotely.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Serve as primary website administrator for jccmilwaukee.org and support additional agency sites
• Manage content and access to all JCC social media channels
• Identify and implement best practices across all digital media assets (social, web, ecommerce)
• Develop digital media plans for specific campaigns or departments
• Photograph and record content at JCC events/programs
• Work closely with program directors and staff to secure timely information and promote offerings
• Adapt design content to meet social media needs
• Support the work of communications and design specialists
• Actively promote and practice the organization’s Positive Rules of Communication
• Assume responsibilities as assigned for JCC special events

Qualifications — Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements (KSAs):
• Proficient with WordPress, MS Office Suite, Google Suite, Meta Business Suite, and social media channels (existing and emerging).
• Preferred experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, photography and/or videography, and relevant analytics management.
• Ability to easily establish rapport with staff and members.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to promote high ethical standards.
• Demonstrated effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; customer-service orientation.
• Ability to adhere to JCC brand guidelines in all areas of work.
• Ability to manage time and projects effectively.
Education and/or Experience:
• B.A. or B.S. degree or other related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 year of digital media marketing or equivalent experience.
