Description
5W Digital is seeking a highly motivated and creative content professional who has the skillset to create and edit copy across various areas within digital marketing. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, organized, self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team environment.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Create content that will be utilized on websites, blogs, email and more
- Craft content for maximum visibility on search engines
- Working with multiple resources to guide creation of content and edit as necessary
- Understand client’s message and specifications to translate into effective copy
- Work with account teams to review and edit copy; both long-form and short-form e.g. Social Media posts, email subject lines, etc.
- Collaborate with design team to complement text with creative
Here’s what you have:
- 1+ years of related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Business Administration, Journalism, Marketing or Communications
- Excellent writing skills with the understanding of grammar
- Experience with WordPress and other CMS systems
- Ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with staff
- Professional appearance and demeanor is required, as this role can be client facing
- A problem-solver who is detail-oriented, flexible, and decisive
- Knowledge of search engine best practices and ranking strategies
- Excellent project management and written communication skills
