KNOP TV is looking for a Weekend Anchor, MMJ and Producer in our main North Platte Newsroom. We have a 6 and 10 pm Saturday show and a 10 pm Sunday show. Three other days of the week will require MMJ reporting. As an MMJ, you will be responsible for finding, shooting, writing, and editing your stories from start to finish.

General Responsibilities:
*editing using AVID software
*social media and website – posting news stories to our website and social platforms
• Respond urgently and appropriately to breaking and developing news

Excellent communication skills, self- motivated, writing skills, editing and computer skills, willingness to work together and learn new platforms. Flexibility in scheduling, to respond to the changing News landscape.
A 4-year degree in Journalism, related field, or equivalent professional experience is required.
