Description
Position Summary
- Capturing and processing images until desired results are achieved for various platforms (editorial, digital and social)
- Constantly improve image quality using various editing methods
- Develop the College’s photo library
- Organize and catalog images for future use and to coordinate and manage image posts to social media
- Assist with various design and video editing projects as needed
- Arrange objects, scenes, lighting and background to adhere to specifications
- Direct participants/photography subjects
- Maintain an in depth understanding of photographic best practices and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Excellent photography skills
- Strong photo editing skills using various software
- A ability to work well in a team
- Have a creative mindset
- Interest in learning more about the L&S environment
- Proven professional shooting experience
- Proficient experience with photography equipment
- Solid knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign or other photography/video editing specific software
- Competency in applying photographic best practices and techniques
- Knowledge of production process for online publishing and various printing applications
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Strong oral communication skills
- High standard of professionalism when working with a team and while photographing subjects
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficient experience with photography equipment
