We’re hiring an entry-level Production Assistant to support day-to-day social operations including:

  • Managing the daily social content, calendar and approvals
  • Scheduling and posting social content
  • Writing social copy for all platforms
  • Working with internal design teams to cut creative
  • Monitoring social conversation
  • Tagging content for reporting

Ideally, you are:

  • A new or recent graduate (this is an entry-level role and very executional)
  • Highly organized and proactive, able to work collaboratively and manage deadlines
  • Comfortable rolling up your sleeves and owning a high volume of daily tasks
  • Familiar with basic video editing (even if you don’t edit yourself)
  • Passionate about social media and stay on top of social trends
  • Interested in satire/political comedy and internet culture

This role is a nine-month contract position starting at  ~$25/hour (negotiable, but limited wiggle room) and will primarily work 8-4pm Monday through Friday. While we currently have no guaranteed path to full time, you’ll partner closely with both the Comedy Central social team and Daily Show producers on a daily basis. For that reason, we strongly prefer that applicants be located in the NYC area so they can be part of the team, however we are open to remote work for the right candidate.
