Description

The Camera Company is Wisconsin’s largest camera store. We have been in business for 44 years as Madison’s photographic and imaging expert and have two Madison locations. We carry a large selection of photography gear and have a full-service photo lab.
The Camera Company is looking for a part-time social media coordinator to plan, strategize, and maintain The Camera Company’s social channels. 


This role will grow our following through the creation of compelling marketing messages that align with company initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring creative ideas to the table and is hardworking & a go-getter.
 
Responsibilities
• Develop content for social media posts; engage with followers; monitor company’s social media accounts
•  Work closely with our team to develop social media schedule for Facebook and Instagram and stay current on social media trends
• Comfortable filming videos, IGTV and IG reels, TikTok
• Come up with creative ideas to collaborate with other local businesses/Madison

Experience:
• Social media skills
• Knowledge of photography/videography/photo equipment a plus
• Experience creating graphics on canva for social and web
• Passion for creating engaging content for a local business audience

Commitment:
15-20 Hours a week
Compensation:
$10-$13/hour, based on experience
