New Voices Magazine is looking for student writers! This opportunity is open to students with a passion for writing, including journalism, essays, editorials, and creative pieces. Published since 1991 by the independent non-profit Jewish Student Press Service, New Voices is the only Jewish and justice-focused magazine by and for college students. With New Voices, the Press Service continues its history of cultivating the next generation of Jewish journalists, creating media that speaks to young Jews and empowering Jewish students to hold accountable the institutions that raised them. The magazine is digitally produced by one recently-graduated editor and a network of student writers and editors from campuses across the country. Writing for New Voices is an opportunity to get connected to a broad network of passionate Jewish student journalists, gain real-world experience with pitching and editing your own stories, and even launch a lifelong career in media. Writing for New Voices Magazine is a volunteer opportunity, but potential options for funding may be available. If you would like to write for New Voices Magazine, get in touch with Rena Yehuda Newman (They/Them), the Editor in Chief of New Voices, by sending an email to email@example.com, or submitting a pitch directly to us online here.
