Description
Congressman Mark Pocan’s Madison, WI office is now accepting applications through April 15th for the summer 2023 internship. Interns are engaged in a variety of activities in a Congressional office that focuses on constituent services. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, be able to work independently and have a positive attitude. Students from all backgrounds and academic majors are welcome to apply.
Intern responsibilities include: capturing media clips, answering telephones, taking in and processing constituent letters, drafting correspondence to constituents and other agencies, and researching issues of importance. Opportunities exist for interns to focus on a specific area of interest. Applicants must be able to devote a minimum of 10 hours per week. Click here for more information.
