Hyungjin Gill is a doctoral candidate whose research focuses on (1) examining how digital social networks affect civic engagement and party identification, and (2) identifying mobile user experience that shapes attitudes toward political information. Previously, he worked for Samsung’s marketing agency and was a reporter at a local NPR station. He earned his B.A. in journalism and mass communication from UW-Madison’s J-School, and his M.A. in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia where he worked as a research assistant at a media psychophysiology lab.
