The Office of Treasurer Sarah Godlewski is accepting applications for communications internships.
The internship program allows interns to participate in many aspects of public policy, social media communications, and operational responsibilities with office staff. Treasurer Godlewski will encourage interns to pursue areas of interest and challenging opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities may include:
Tracking press coverage of Treasurer Godlewski and the Office of the State Treasurer
Assisting with constituent correspondence
Updating the Office of the State Treasurer website
Drafting and scheduling social media content
Organizing and updating constituent and press contacts
Providing research assistance
Assisting in general office duties
Providing information and technology support

Experience with college-level research and writing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional office etiquette
Ability to multitask and work independently and cooperatively
Proficiency in computer skills and research
Reliable and prompt
Attention to detail and the ability to complete projects efficiently

Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Canva (or similar) preferred but not required.

The internship will require 8-10 hours of time per week during business hours on weekdays and is not paid.
