The University of Wisconsin-Madison International Division anticipates an opening for one graduate student Project Assistant for the duration of the 2019-20 academic year. This position will begin work on or about 9 Sept 2019.
The purpose of the PAship is twofold: (1) to help the Director of Communications and the International Safety and Security Director accomplish necessary work and (2) to help prepare the selected student for jobs after graduation that may entail or include administration in related fields.
Thus, we are especially interested in applications from students whose academic work focuses on some aspect of Communications, with an interest and coursework in International Studies, Political Science, History or related fields, who anticipate careers that might involve communications or programming in public agency, and who would appreciate receiving training and mentoring in international programs administration and research.
