Black Box Fund was founded to activate and support public art, music and performance that inspires, educates and enhances the well-being in our Milwaukee communities. Black Box Fund is seeking an enthusiastic, super outgoing, highly motivated student or recent college grad to assist the Executive Director and Board of Directors.

This is a paid internship for up to 10 hours per week as a Marketing and Events Coordinator and will assist in the following activities:
–Help develop Social Media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Web
–Monitor, listen, and respond to our social community while developing, engaging, and expanding social community
–Become an advocate for everything Black Box Fund in social media spaces to help brand our organization.
–Maintain and update website content
–Write monthly e-newsletter using Mailchimp
–Event photography for social posting
–Assist with running all seasonal events (Jazz at Noon, Art/Spot and more as needed)
–Other odd, creative, exciting duties as assigned – there is never a dull moment!

–Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in Social Media
–Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social platforms (FB, Twitter, Instagram)
–Maintains excellent writing and language skills
–Has working knowledge of Mail Chimp, Eventbrite, and Microsoft Office Products
–Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written format
–Demonstrates winning social customer service techniques – friendly, awesome, and approachable online
–Communication, Marketing, or Public Relations Majors preferred but not required
–Knowledge of arts happenings in the city and ability to engage with and cross promote
–Flexible schedule and remote workspace opportunity, however, must be available in person to work at Jazz at Noon Mondays from 11:30 – 1:30 and the Art/Spot events: June 19th – 21st and other possible event dates TBD.
