The UW Dept. of Emergency Medicine is seeking 1-2 undergraduate research assistants to help with survey administration, data management, and other administrative tasks for 8-12 hours/week. Our research focuses on ways of improving high-quality medical care for older adults, in both hospital emergency departments and in the community.
We are looking for dedicated, reliable, independent workers with great attention to detail, who are computer savvy and comfortable communicating over the phone. These positions are open to students in all fields, but an interest in human subjects research (in any discipline) or healthcare is highly desirable.
Specifically, we need research assistants who can work 2-3 mornings/wk (Monday, Wednesday, and/or Friday) until at least 11am during the Fall semester. A commitment to work during the Spring semester (hours flexible based upon class schedule) is also requested. Other tasks and involvement in research studies are also possible, based upon the student’s interest and availability.

If you are interested in joining our team, please send your resume, a cover letter, current class schedule/availability, and unofficial copy of your transcript to Gwen Jacobsohn at firstname.lastname@example.org.
