He has served as an executive in the media, health care, marketing, technology and trade association fields, and has extensive experience in sales, marketing, management and strategic planning. Interns will also learn from business and not-for-profit leaders who will be brought in to share their experience and ideas.
Tasks and pay:
Interns will work a flexible, 35-hour per week schedule and will earn $10.00 per hour. The internships will start Tuesday, May 26 and end Friday, August 21. The week of June 29 will be unpaid time off.
The interns will research and analyze business problems of current and potential customers, find solutions to those problems using The Daily Cardinal’s digital and print media capabilities, prospect for new customers, develop presentations, and sell those solutions to customers. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with campus area and city-wide businesses and not-for-profit organizations and engage in other business-related activities as necessary.
Interns will be exposed to business leaders in a variety of fields to learn directly from them.
Strong preference will be given to those who are serious about elevating their sales and leadership skills to a professional level. Applicants must be willing and able to work the entire period of the internship.
