Our 12-week summer Internship Program is held at our Lands’ End corporate headquarters in Dodgeville, WI. Dodgeville is a community of about 4,000 that offers charming restored buildings with stores, specialty shops, restaurants and professional services. Nearby Governor Dodge State Park is Wisconsin’s largest with over 5,000 scenic acres, two lakes, and a waterfall. Dodgeville is located just 45 minutes from Madison. Madison is home to the University of Wisconsin and is a progressive city with outstanding restaurants, bike trails, and beautiful lakes surrounded by numerous parks.

Our internship program is designed with future leaders in mind and serves as a pipeline for top talent. As a Digital Marketing intern, you will have a hands-on opportunity to project manage and gain exposure by building relationships with internal and external agency teams. You will work alongside your team on a variety of projects spanning across digital media. Your experience as an intern at Lands’ End is both educational and fun, while keeping you connected with your mentor, manager and fellow interns. You will gain exposure to company leaders through roundtables, your final project showcase and other company functions. We are seeking someone who is interested in continuously learning about Google algorithms and marketing technology in a field that is constantly changing.

Role & Responsibilities:
• Learn the basic foundation of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and Paid Search
• Learn the process for creating new content & landing pages
• Collaborate with the SEO copywriter to write content such as titles, meta tags and create/update SEO copy across various owned brand websites
• Create a weekly reporting document with all search metrics and learnings
• Conduct competitive intelligence research
• Attend meetings with agencies, vendors and internal partners
• Assist with timelines for all search and Amazon related projects
• Participate in the summer project with fellow interns that will be presented to leadership
• Help support audit process (search queries and ad extension)

Your Skills:
• Progress towards a bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Merchandising, Digital Retailing, Business Analytics, Communications or related field preferred
• Ability to multitask, work with a team, deadline driven, create high quality work, desire to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects
• High level of initiative, motivation, positive attitude and excellent attention to detail
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Docs skills
