The Wisconsin Idea Project at UW–Madison is looking for an intern to make the Wisconsin Idea their “beat” and update the Wisconsin Idea database. The database consists of examples of teaching, research, outreach and public service by UW–Madison faculty and staff that benefit people, organizations and communities of Wisconsin.
The Wisconsin Idea intern will contact those faculty and staff members to ask if their current listings are up to date, and edit the description of each project or program as needed. The intern will also look on campus websites and tap into other sources for examples of the Wisconsin Idea not already in the database, and potentially write news and feature stories to disseminate to media, government officials, and other key audiences.
Pay is $11/hr. for approximately 12-15 hours a week (negotiable).
