Helu Wang

Helu has four years of multimedia experience ranging from newspaper, magazine, and television before returning college. To her, journalism is all about unearthing the real social problems and bringing them to people’s attention so that positive action is taken and they are resolved. This is why she equips herself with the required skills, from writing for local newspaper at the age of 11, to studying journalism at university, to gaining experience with leading Chinese broadcasting networks, to traveling 61 cities preparing to create her own documentary. She intends to work as an investigative reporter covering public affairs and then launch her own documentary firm to gain as much knowledge as possible before getting into academics and passing the same down to the next generation of upcoming journalists.
