Mark Rademacher received his Ph.D. from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2009. He is an assistant professor in the Strategic Communication Program at Butler University. His research investigates the links between consumption behavior, individual and group identities, emergent technologies, and culture. His research has been presented at numerous national and international conferences and published in The ANNALS of the American Academy of Political and Social Science.
At Butler, he has served as Program Director, spearheaded the institution of a new Strategic Communication curriculum and major, and advised Butler’s NSAC team to the National Finals.
