Rosanne Scholl is Assistant Professor in the Manship School of Mass Communication and the Department of Political Science at Louisiana State University. A 2008 Mass Communications Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she specializes in political and economic communication. Her research examines media effects on economic and political attitudes using survey, experimental, and content-analysis methodologies. She also conducts research in the areas of news framing effects and political engagement. She has held leadership positions in AEJMC and SPSA . She teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in political communication, public opinion, and mass communication.
