Since graduating with her M.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication in 2011, Stephanie has been the Research & Policy Director for a U.S. Senate campaign, a Campaign Manager for a Congressional campaign and is currently the Director of Public Relations and Grassroots Advocacy at Arena Strategy Group. In this role, she develops and executes strategies encompassing media relations, coalition building and recruiting advocates in support of achieving her clients’ objectives in Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Washington, DC. Her clients have included major trade associations and Fortune 500 companies. Stephanie also serves as the President of the Wisconsin Women in Government Board of Directors, a nonpartisan non-profit committed to advancing more women in government. She also served as Co-Chair of the 2014 Leadership Wisconsin State Seminar, a program operated through the University of Wisconsin Extension to train promising leaders, many of whom have served in elected office. Prior to enrolling in the Pro-Track program at the J-School, Stephanie worked on Capitol Hill and for a political polling firm in Washington before moving to Madison where she worked in the Wisconsin State Assembly. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Studies, which she received from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
