Description
image.works, a fast-growing marketing firm on Madison’s west side, seeks a support copywriter to join our team of writers. This position requires writing copy for direct mail, emails, newsletters, blogs, animations, digital campaigns and a wide variety of other marketing materials for our clients, mainly in the financial, healthcare and education industries. We’re especially interested in writers who have experience with search engine advertising, SEO and social media posting. Candidates must be fast, accurate and creative with excellent writing abilities, a keen eye for editing and strong communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
• Communicate with clients; understand their needs, products and audience
• Develop fresh concepts, often in partnership with designers
• Write clear, original copy and modify it until clients are satisfied
• Meticulously proofread for punctuation, spelling and grammar
• Work on multiple campaigns at once, often under tight deadlines
Desired Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree – including college students graduating soon
• Some related work experience
• Examples of strong copywriting skills
• Digital and social media marketing experience
You must be able to work onsite (Madison’s westside) and during business hours, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
The position is part-time with the possibility of full-time work after graduation.
