Description
Northwest News is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Handler & Video Editor to join our team in Kent, Seattle. If you have a passion for storytelling, current events, and digital media, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
• Manage and grow our presence across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
• Plan and schedule engaging content to increase reach and engagement
• Edit short and long-form video content for news and social platforms
• Collaborate with our editorial team to turn stories into visual content
• Monitor trends and analytics to improve performance and content strategy
Requirements:
• Proven experience in social media management and video editing
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with news content and digital media trends is a plus
Pay: $18 per hour
Location: Kent, Seattle, WA (On-site)
