Duties & Responsibilities:
• Design weekly Registered Student Organization (RSO) communication through the weekly CfLI Buzz Newsletter.
• Manage all of CfLI’s social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
• Create and distribute weekly newsletter, the CfLI Buzz, to Registered Student Organization (RSO) leaders.
• Develop promotional materials and support advertising of CfLI and the office’s departmentally sponsored organization’s events, programs, and services.
• Participate as a brand ambassador of CfLI at outreach events, including campus resource fairs, student organization fairs, workshops, and student panels.
• Complete assigned short-term projects that could include developing graphics, creating marketing materials (videos, brochures, posters, etc.) and digital media or capturing visual artifacts for office marketing efforts

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Previous marketing experience, either in academic or professional settings
• A willingness to create an inclusive, welcoming, and open working environment
• Experience using various types of design software, including Adobe Suite products (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)
• Interest in diverse learning opportunities that spark exploration & develop socio-cultural awareness
• Passion for marketing, advertising, analytics, strategy and design
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn new skills
• Organized and dependable work habits and willingness to take initiative
• Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 – should GPA fall below 2.0, a meeting with the staff supervisor would be required

Student Status:
To be eligible for the Wisconsin Union positions, you must be currently enrolled in a college, university, or highschool (at least 16). It is not permissible to hire a person as a student hourly employee if they are taking credits merely to be eligible for student hourly employment. Review UW Policy 5003- Student Hourly Employment for more information. If school is in break period (summer, spring, winter), applicants must intend to enroll in courses the following semester.
