Description
Responsibilities
• Write compelling stories, profiles, and news articles about students, faculty, events, and programs happening across arts units on campus.
• Assist with content for the division’s website, social media, and our newsletter.
• Conduct interviews and research to support storytelling and promotional efforts.
• Collaborate with communications staff on editorial planning and content strategy.
• Attend and report on campus arts events as needed.
Qualifications
• Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student at UW–Madison.
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Interest in the arts and storytelling.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
• Experience with journalism, creative writing, or communications preferred.
