Alyssa Lutker (sher/her) is a master’s student in the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She is in the professional track program, specializing in environmental communications and nonprofit/community storytelling.
Lutker earned her bachelor’s degree in anthropology with minors in biology and journalism. Her educational and professional background is reflected in her intersectional approach to communications and storytelling. She is passionate about helping people understand the connections within their environment, communities, and individual lives.
Lutker volunteers and partners with several local nonprofit and community organizations, with the goal of helping to build more capacity in their communications and storytelling as a means of supporting their continued efforts.
