The Eklund family created an estate plan and established the Eklund Scholarship Fund. This fund supports the financial needs to students in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication and has left a lasting legacy on the lives of many deserving students.

Alumna and BOV member Samara Sodos established a scholarship in her grandfather’s name to honor his legacy at UW and in the world of media and advertising.
