You’ll be supported by dynamic sales managers, talented sellers, Gray Digital Media, and an exceptional support staff dedicated to making success happen.
We’re looking for a kind, strategic leader who leads by example—a passionate seller who enjoys coaching as much as closing deals.

The Director of Sales will oversee all aspects of the Sales Department, including staff management, inventory optimization, revenue goal setting and achievement, and budgeting.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Skillful collaborator willing and able to work closely with other departments to create station-wide success.
• Seasoned leader who leads with positivity—experienced at managing and growing a team.
• Developing and implementing sales strategies to exceed revenue targets in local, national, digital, and new product sales.
• Driving new business development.
• Managing inventory and revenue forecasting.
• Recruiting and developing talented sales professionals.
• Preparing budgets and approving expenditures.
• Addressing customer complaints related to sales and service.
• Planning and directing staffing, training, and performance evaluations to enhance sales and service programs.
• Determining inventory, pricing, and discount rates.
• Creating and reviewing operational records and reports to project sales and assess profitability.

• Must have a strong knowledge of digital platforms along with broadcast.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Mass Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to communicate effectively in both individual and group settings.
• Ability to present, negotiate, close deals, and build long-term relationships.
• Thorough attention to detail.
• Minimum five years’ experience in media sales leadership.
• Experience guiding, directing, and motivating subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
• Experience establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them.
