The Opportunity:
Are you a creative, driven, and digitally savvy individual with a passion for marketing and social media? Southern Italy Imports is seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to join our team and play a key role in elevating the presence of Lombardi Limonata across digital platforms and in the Madison market. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in brand storytelling, content creation, and community engagement within the beverage industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development and execution of social media strategies for Lombardi Limonata across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, etc.
• Create engaging and visually appealing content, including graphics, short videos, and compelling copy, in line with brand guidelines.
• Schedule and publish social media posts using content management tools.
• Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and foster community engagement.
• Research industry trends, competitor activities, and audience insights to inform content strategy. (May include work in the market)
• Support the creation of marketing materials, including email newsletters, website content, Point of Sale materials, signage, and promotional tools.
• Assist with basic analytics reporting to track campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Participation in on-site promotions/events.
Who We Are Looking For:
• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Creativity and a passion for developing engaging content.
• Proficiency with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and/or video editing software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, organized, and eager to learn.
