About the Book: We are excited to announce the upcoming release of a groundbreaking political fiction novel that delves into the complexities of political polarization, climate change, and cultural identity. A novel that explores our immediate future as the USA strives for equity and sustainability, while grappling with the consequences of traditionalism and deregulation. Set in the backdrop of political polarization and accelerating climate change, is massive political change possible to meet these challenges? From the ashes of environmental and economic collapse, can a new form of democracy rise? In a world reeling from climate disasters, economic collapse, and social upheaval, follow the intertwined destinies of, Governor Robert Callahan, Justice Marisol Reyes and Charlie McBride. A book that is equal measures the story of the characters, economic policy, climate change, and political upheaval. As we prepare for its launch, we are looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Engagement Intern to help us increase visibility and engage with our audience.

About the author: Professor Karu Sankaralingam is a Computer Science Professor, startup founder, and inventor. He is an IEEE Fellow and recipient of several University awards on research and teaching.

Role and Responsibilities:
As a Social Media Engagement Intern, you will play a crucial role in promoting the book and building an online community. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Content Creation: Write engaging short posts covering themes and topics explored in the book.
2. News Summaries: Summarize recent developments in the news related to political polarization, climate change, and cultural identity.
3. Social Media Management: Manage social media postings across various platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
4. Engagement: Interact with followers, respond to comments, and foster discussions to build a vibrant online community.
5. Access to Manuscript: Utilize the current manuscript to create relevant and insightful content.
6. Work with marketing and publicity professionals who are helping with the book launch.

Qualifications:
1. Strong interest in political fiction, climate change, cultural identity, and related themes.
2. Excellent writing and communication skills.
3. Experience with social media platforms and understanding of their algorithms.
4. Creativity and the ability to generate engaging content.
5. Self-motivated and able to work independently.
