Description
As our social media marketing intern, you will be responsible for managing all our social media efforts on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Your marketing expertise will help us increase brand awareness on our pages as we promote all Wisconsin Singers events, recruitment efforts, fundraisers, and more. We are looking for a self-driven, creative individual to lead our social media team and help us increase our audience engagement efforts. Gain real-world experience and marketing/design skills to boost your resume. This position requires in-person work in Madison, WI with the opportunity for projects to be completed remotely on an as-needed basis. This internship is unpaid however students have the opportunity to earn scholarship funds.
Job Description:
– Create engagement strategies for all Wisconsin Singers accounts and post content on a regular basis
– Promote all Wisconsin Singers events
– Create copy for paid advertisements
– Assist with choosing photo content and designs for best programmatic use
– Expand your skills by working with photo-editing and video-editing Adobe software (optional)
About Wisconsin Singers:
For over 50 years, the Wisconsin Singers has been touring the country with brand new broadway-caliber productions each season, created to engage audience members of any age. The Wisconsin Singers take the lead as performers onstage or behind the scenes in backstage/entertainment management internships. This troupe is dedicated to personal and academic excellence: Wisconsin Singers have a higher average GPA than the average undergraduate GPA on UW-Madison’s campus. As “Official Ambassadors of Goodwill” for the University, the Wisconsin Singers raise thousands of dollars for arts and service programs around the state.
