Alberto holds a B.A. from Universidad Iberoamericana in International Business and Customs and a M.S. from South Dakota State University in Journalism and Communication Studies. Alberto also studied French at the Institut Lyonnais in France. He began his studies at the SJMC in the fall of 2013. His main focus is in health communication and media effects. Alberto is building his research around the impact of social interactions in physical and mental health, as well as the influence of media in the development of attitudes and behaviors. He currently assists Prof. Michael Wagner teach journalism and strategic communication practices.
