Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their best practices Basic knowledge of graphic design and multimedia content creation (experience with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite is a plus)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Creative Mindset with a passion for branding and digital marketing
• Requirements: Candidates must be enrolled at a higher education institution and possess a valid driver’s license.
Key Responsibilities:
• Capture Badger Student-Athletes’ off-field accomplishments through photography, video, social media, etc.
• Provide administrative and creative strategy support to the Badger Built Storytelling Committee.
• Take, edit, and manage photos at all Badger Built events.
• Maintain a content calendar in collaboration with Badger Built units.
• Create and distribute graphics across multiple platforms.
• Manage social media accounts and content. Operate cameras at events and for content creation.
Schedule: Hours vary and are specific to different sport schedules and community partner needs; evening and weekend hours required.
Job Location: Wisconsin Athletics, Student-Athlete Performance Center
Anticipated Start & End Dates:
Interns will start Summer/Fall 2025 and will go through May 2026 with the option to a mutually agreed upon renewal for a second year. Summer hours will be discussed during interview process.
Additional Details:
Looking for 1-2 summer 2025 interns and 2 fall/spring 2025-2026 interns
Hours per week (estimate): 20-30 in summer and 10-15 during the school year
