Who are we hiring?

The Coordinator, Artist Relations will be key in helping deliver exceptional on-site experiences for both artists and fans for concerts and events across MSG Entertainment’s portfolio of venues (which includes Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, Beacon Theatre, The Theater at MSG and The Chicago Theatre). They will support ideation, planning and execution of artist-branded activations, as well as gifting, hospitality and promotional initiatives that will help nurture the business relationship between the company, the artist, and the fan.

What will you do?

  • Assist with the conception and execution of curating backstage spaces, as well as both artist-facing and fan-facing activations
  • Facilitate the ideation and execution of artist gifting across all venues
  • Work closely with internal departments to facilitate design, production and installation needs and source vendors, props, and décor as needed
  • Participate in the design, management and organizational process of venue hospitality spaces
  • Work closely with digital and social teams on artist targeting and content opportunities to increase engagement and awareness
  • Understand the complex needs of different events and diverse artists; track industry trends through research and share findings with the team
  • Assist with additional special projects and initiatives as assigned by supervisor
  • Live, real-time event coverage onsite

What do you need to succeed?

  • 1-3 years experience in production, logistics, creative and planning for live events; music/entertainment experience a plus, but not required
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation, project management and time management skills
  • Innovative with a “think outside the box” mentality
  • Strong attention to detail and extremely organized
  • Able to function in a high stress environment and with tight deadlines
  • Ability to interact and take direction from senior executives, artists, promoters and managers
  • Ability to multi-task on various projects on a multitude of events
  • Establish a positive environment that is able to respond to constant change
  • Must have strong knowledge of NY marketplace
  • Design and/or experiential background is a plus
  • Required to work live events on nights and weekends as needed

Pay Range

$45,000—$65,000 USD
