FALL 2024 INTERNSHIP AT AGGREGATE FILMS
Aggregate Films (BASED ON A TRUE STORY, OZARK, YOUR PLACE OR MINE) is seeking motivated, enthusiastic interns to join our development team this Fall. We seek skilled writers who are eager to read new material and learn about the development process. The position will consist of reading scripts, books, pilots, and other material, researching original projects, and contributing to various stages of the development process, and include opportunities to learn first-hand from executives across film, TV, and unscripted departments. Previous coverage experience is highly preferred. This internship is unpaid and for school credit. We ask for a 2 days a week minimum commitment with the option to work fully remote or a hybrid of remote/1-2 days in-office in West Hollywood. Aggregate Films is a production company founded by Jason Bateman and partner Michael Costigan which creates film, television, documentary, and unscripted programming across all platforms. Aggregate most recently released the Peacock original comedy thriller series Based On A True Story, starring Kaley Cuoco and Chris Messina; Florida Man starring Edgar Ramirez for Netflix; Outlast, a Netflix original documentary survival series; the Netflix romantic comedy Your Place or Mine from writer-director Aline Brosh McKenna, which stars Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher; Under the Banner of Heaven for FX; and the final season of Ozark for Netflix. Other upcoming projects include the Apple TV+ limited series Lessons in Chemistry starring Brie Larson, based on the best-selling novel from Bonnie Garmus; Hitman, a feature film from Richard Linklater and Glen Powell; and Finn Wolfhard and Billy Bryk’s directorial debut feature, Hell of a Summer.
