Description
The Wisconsin Football T.E.A.M. is seeking qualified applicants to serve as student assistants. Students will gain experience across recruiting, operations, and student services. This is a great opportunity if you are looking to go into a career in football or college athletics.
Position Overview / Job Duties:
• Stewardship of any/all football guests during their visit in the office, during events, and on game days.
• Assist with preparation, registration and day-of responsibilities related to home football games and recruiting events.
• Initial eligibility transcript evaluation; Communicate with high school counselors and input grades into recruit tracking systems.
• Assist in processing potential student admission information and ensure proper NCAA requirements are met.
• Manage and maintain student and recruit information in physical and online files.
• Secretarial duties including, but not limited to; answering phones, copying, sorting mail, stocking fridges, and ordering office supplies.
• Miscellaneous projects for coaches/staff (binders, recruiting tags, spreadsheets, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned.
Start Date / Term of Employment:
• Position will begin in August 2025
• Renewable position through anticipated graduation, contingent on performance each semester
Applicant Requirements (MUST MEET ALL REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY):
• Current UW-Madison student with a graduation date of May 2026 or later
• Availability to work all football home games
• Able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week
