The team you will be a part of

The Digital Marketing team develops marketing, merchandising and creative strategies and affiliated programs to promote the organization’s products and services through the Internet or other digital channels to increase exposure to and business from the target audience and analyzes their effectiveness. Develops and maintains website graphic designs and layout to support the organization’s image, identity and brands. May be responsible for social media marketing and online community management.

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a Media Analyst. Our growing team of passionate and collaborative humans is focused on best-in-class advertising, storytelling, and consumer experience for all of Whirlpool’s brands including KitchenAid, Whirlpool, JennAir, Maytag, and Amana. We’re committed to increasing and elevating Whirlpool’s output of campaigns, content, design, experiences, and digital innovation across all consumer touchpoints (in-store, film, social, digital, experiential, etc).
This role can either be located in the historic Reid Murdoch Building at the edge of Chicago’s Riverwalk or at Whirlpool’s Global Headquarters in Benton Harbor, MI.

In this role, you will be responsible for tracking continual paid media performance across the portfolio for cross-brand learnings, testing implications, and delivery against key marketing and business objectives. You will serve as a key internal representative for paid marketing performance and optimization across Brand, Social, Retail, and Creative.

Employees in this role work a hybrid schedule of four core days in office with Friday remote and will be based in Chicago.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Inputs and partners with the media team on campaign performance reports, ensuring tags are tracking. Provides regular reports on key metrics (bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual).
  • Manages campaign-specific performance across paid digital media channels, social, and retail media.
  • Analyzes campaign data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Sets forth media learning opportunities based on channel analytics and brand objectives – A/B testing opportunities, creative learnings and audience targeting performance.
  • Monitors ongoing dashboards with our media agencies and utilizes internal brand health tools to make sure KPIs are effectively being tracked.
  • Tracks media performance implications to make sure optimizations are being applied and utilized as well as the effects of those optimizations.
  • Sends appropriate recaps/reporting for Brand, Retail, Social, and Creative teams to better understand campaign, creative, and media performance across all marketing efforts – creates Ad Hoc reports as needed.
  • Serves as direct contact for key measurement partners and tools and helps in any ongoing tool evaluations.
  • Tracks effectiveness of marketing throughout the funnel and across different consumer targets.
  • Analyzes performance of search keywords and recommendations for Always On search strategy as well as campaign-specific search across the portfolio.
  • Stays updated on industry trends and best practices.

Minimum requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • ~2-4 years in Media experience
  • Experience developing detailed reports utilizing large quantities of data
  • Experience in tracking performance and proven outcomes of optimizations
