Description
Journalism students and graduates from the 2024-2025 school year:
The Scripps Howard Fund and the Institute for Nonprofit News are offering paid internships this fall.
Each 10-week opportunity offers a full-time experience, with students working at least 35 hours a week for a minimum of $15/hour.
There are five nonprofit host newsrooms:
• The Athens County Independent in Athens, Ohio
• The Current in Savannah, Ga.
• Mississippi Free Press in Jackson, Miss.
• Mountain State Spotlight in Charleston, W. Va.
• VTDigger in Montpelier, Vt.
Each newsroom will offer a different experience. Job descriptions for the individual roles are available on the application link.
There will be a virtual Q & A with the hiring managers on Wednesday, April 2.
