Linjie Dai is a Ph.D. student in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, University of Wisconsin-Madison. He studies mass communication in processes of identity construction, civic engagement, etc., with special interests in the intersection of mass communication and gender and sexuality as well as other power dynamics. Linjie is a qualitative scholar and is always willing to explore these questions in global and historical contexts. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Peking University in China.
