Abby QIN Youran is a Ph.D. student in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She explores the intersection between politics and communication, especially censorship, propaganda, and public opinions. Her research has appeared in Mass Communication & Society.
She holds an M.Phil. degree in Communication Studies from the Hong Kong Baptist University, an M.SSc. degree in Global Political Economy from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, as well as a B.A. degree in Digital Television and Broadcasting from the City University of Hong Kong.
