Professor Sue Robinson won the 2019 Public Engagement Award from the Journalism Studies Division of the International Communication Association. Robinson was recognized for embodying the spirit of this award, from the publication of her new public-facing book to her volunteer work in the community, to her international outreach with think tanks, journalist organizations and schools. This was the first year the award was presented.
