The  °1824/Republic Records Content Creator role will report to °1824 while providing creative support exclusively to Republic Records to amplify artists’ stories through the creation of visual content for various platforms. This part-time job is a unique opportunity to work with the industry’s leading creative solutions team and start building your career in the music industry prior to graduation.

Job Duties

  • Create relevant, original, high-quality content across multiple formats to best engage target audiences, build awareness, convert and retain audience across multiple platforms 
  • Shoot, edit and grade footage
  • Export and deliver all video projects within specific requirements and deadlines
  • Create treatments and visual content ideas
  • Identify key moments that serve as tentpole opportunities to engage our artists with social and IRL communities
  • Address feedback to meet client needs
  • Communicate quickly, succinctly and effectively
  • Actively participate in team meetings, discussions and planning
  • Create copy for social posts
  • Track and analyze campaign KPIs

Skills & Experience

  • Strong Connection to social media culture 
  • Strong understanding of multiple platforms with a keen focus on vertical video including TikTok, Instagram Reels, Snapchat and YouTube Shorts
  • Understanding of the nuances of both Vertical and standard video content
  • Experience with still photography, editing, animation, location shooting, set design, and post-production (editing, coloring, audio engineering, titles, graphics, etc.) all a plus
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects), CapCut and other relevant editing software
  • Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and an adaptable attitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Discretion when working on confidential projects
  • Enrolled in university with at least 2 years remaining
  • Available to work 20 hours/week, prioritizing this role over other employment
  • Time Commitment:  Please note this is a year-round, part-time role through graduation and not a one-semester internship

Salary Range

$13/hr – $18/hr
