Board of Visitors

Founded in 1997, the Board of Visitors is comprised of alumni and friends of the School who represent the various professional arenas, including news, advertising, public relations, media management and public service.

The Board serves as an advisory group to the Director and faculty of the School, helping them to remain at the forefront nationally in educating students and supporting research in mass communication. Board members provide ongoing professional feedback and an important external perspective as the School seeks to respond to an ever-changing media environment. In addition, the Board plays a key role in the School’s outreach and development activities, helping to maintain ties with alumni, professional organizations and corporations.
